JUAN LUIS GUERRA RECEIVES NOMINATION TO THE 62nd ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS FOR HIS LATEST ALBUM “LITERAL”

MIAMI, FL. (November 20, 2019). – A week after winning two Latin GRAMMY® Awards, Juan Luis Guerra has been nominated today for the 62ndAnnual GRAMMY® Awards in the category “Best Tropical Latin Album” for his latest album LITERAL.
The three GRAMMY® and 23 Latin GRAMMY® award-winner is recognized once again for his extraordinary work on his sixteenth album LITERAL, where hisgeniality behind the lyrical content, the magic in performing each track, and the impeccable fusion between the different rhythms such as bachata, son, salsa, jazz and merengue, among others, is highlighted.
Just by listening to songs like "Kitipun," "I Love You More," "Corazón Enamorado," and the latest "Lámpara Pa’ Mis Pies," you can feel the great musical richness of Latin culture, the way only Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40 can.
LITERAL, written, arranged, orchestrated and produced by Guerra andthe co-production of Janina Rosado, includes other songs such as "Ma Pa' Lante Vive Gente,""Cantando Bachata," "Son a Mamá," "No Tiene Madre," "Me Preguntas, "El Primer Baile," and "Merengue de Cuna," dedicated to her first born Jean Gabriel.
Throughout his successful career, Guerra’s GRAMMY® winning albums include “Bachata Rosa”(1991), “La Llave De Mi Corazón”(2007), and Juanes “MTV Unplugged Deluxe Edition”(2012) which he produced.
